DANDELION, OR JULIUS CAESAR ?

When you think of a dandelion, you probably think of all the magical wishes that can be asked of it. In my case, I thought of the mighty Julius Caesar! In the play, Caesar is growing and growing, as do dandelions. He is making his way to the top, until his tragic assassination occurs. While a dandelion grows, it will either grow tall and strong or slowly be taken apart by the wind. I believe that both Cassius and Brutus are this so-called "wind". Caesar is almost at the point of gaining his crown, when the unthinkable happens. He is murdered by his own friends and comrades! Being stabbed repeatedly, he finally topples over into the darkness of his death. Then, finally, there is no more mighty Julius Caesar; just a still, lifeless thing where emotion and power once reign. Caesar was blown away completely and helplessly, just like a dandelion in the wind.
